The white cell counts on the next two occasions were also low, being 3000 and 4350 cu./mm. respectively, the latter in June 1962, but when she was admitted this time in May 1964 the picture was that of acute myeloblastic leukemia. This was a rare presentation of acute myeloblastic leukemia, this diagnosis should be considered as a possibility Whenever one is confronted with a case of erythema nodosum.
